Reporting back...from the Farming Forum Q&A

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: CAP Reform

On 27 August, we held a two hour live Q&A session on the Farming Forum website, which currently has over 8,000 registered members from across the agricultural sector.

You can read the thread here (most recent posts are on the last page). We are continuing to post responses to all the questions that were asked before the session closed. The majority of the questions received were on the greening requirements of the new Basic Payment Scheme, with enquires around crop diversification and Ecological Focus Areas being an obvious priority as CAP customers look to plant crops in September.  Other questions covered the new rules around both active farmer and young farmer, as well as applying for entitlements, cross compliance and when to access the new CAP Information Service, the online application and payment service for new CAP schemes.

Around 600 Farming Forum members were logged in during the live session. The thread has subsequently received 4,515 views.

We’ll keep this blog up to date with information on any future online Q&As we hold.
