We’re pleased to tell you that we're introducing a new ‘Document upload’ service in the Rural Payments service.
This new online service will give you a simpler, more secure way to send us documents and supporting evidence. Instead of using different methods to submit information, you'll be able to upload documents directly through the Rural Payments service whenever it suits you.
The service is designed to make things easier for farmers, land managers, agents and other Rural Payments customers, while helping us process information more quickly.
Why we're introducing this service
We know that customers currently use several different ways to send documents to us. This can sometimes mean information needs to be sorted and passed between teams before it reaches the right place.
You've told us that you want simpler, more direct and convenient ways to work with us, and we've listened.
When you upload documents using the Rural Payments service, they'll be sent directly to the team that needs them. This will help reduce delays and improve processing times.
The new service is part of our wider work to modernise our services and give customers more online options, making it easier to manage your Rural Payments business with us.
How the service will help you
By using ‘Document upload’, you'll be able to:
- upload documents securely online at a time that suits you
- avoid posting documents or using multiple submission methods
- get information to the right team more quickly
- help us process your supporting information and evidence faster
- view a record of documents submitted through the service
- access the service from any device with an internet connection
- benefit from a simpler and more straightforward process
As more documents come directly through the Rural Payments service, we'll also spend less time manually sorting and routing information. This means we can work more efficiently and respond to customers more quickly.
What you'll be able to use the service for
You'll be able to upload documents and evidence for:
- Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI)*
- Countryside Stewardship (CS)
- Grants services
- Environmental Stewardship (ES)
- Delinked Payments
- Complaints
- Appeals
- Probate cases
- Business structure changes
*SFI26 will not be included at launch
You'll also be able to view a history of the documents you've uploaded through the service, making it easier to keep track of what you've sent us
