At the Defra stand at the Livestock show, farmers have been trying out the new applications and payment service.
The team working on development of the new service are giving customers opportunity to comment on some of its developing screens.
One of the Defra user researchers at the show, which receives 14,000 plus visitors annually tells us “we’re indoors this time which is nice because it is air conditioned but a shame because it is such a lovely day outside.
“We have enjoyed a number of conversations with people interested in the CAP Information Service and have even persuade some of them to take the weight off, sit down a while and have a look at the live preview environment. Working with our customer research expert from Government Digital Service, we have been noting useful feedback on how farmers want to amend their land details.
“The stars of this show are definitely the animals and we are not that far from where they are being put through their paces in the show ring. Sadly we can’t actually see them from here but we definitely know they are there...”
